Frequently Asked DJ Questions
Yes, we can get your venue proof of this typically within minutes.
With larger setups, I will bring an assistant. I usually enjoy working alone, however, so I can focus on my clients better.
I will! I usually send out the timeline to all your vendors five days prior to your reception. I work as a team to make sure they are all where they need to be and everyone is ready for your special moments.
Absolutely. It’s part of my job and I’ve worked events where I’ve had to coordinate EVERYTHING from the timing of the ceremony walks to the serving of dinner.
Our “Associate Dj Package” includes one room. Each additional room may need sound and would require at least one speaker. A cocktail setup (1 speaker) is $125 and another setup for ceremony with mics is $275 (2 speakers). I’m happy to chat about your needs and save you money where I can by plugging into house speaker systems.
Absolutely! I’ll make sure your guests know what’s going on at all times, I’ll introduce your wedding party and I’ll get your guests pumped up and ready to party in a subtle, tasteful manner without being “that DJ that never shuts-up.” I’ll also make sure your VIP members are in the room before introducing them for important events such as toasts, dances and speeches.
As a service provider, we can’t match prices. Pricing is going to range based on experience and supply/demand of your specific Dj/company. As with any business, a newer Dj is going to have lower prices. A Dj that’s not booked often will also have lower prices.
I’ve been to many venues in the Valley, Sedona and Tucson. If I haven’t been to your venue, just send over a floor plan and we can hash out the details. If it’s within 45 minutes of 85297, I’d be happy to drive out and take a peak after you book.
Yes! It rocks. It will be enough for up to 200 guests. If you have more guests, I recommend including an additional subwoofer ($125).
NO! Stay away from DJs with lasers. This is a sure sign of in-experience (IMO). No one wants those green dots, unless you’re going for a “starry sky” look in which case they are pointed to the ceiling. Djs also tend to use derby lights (see video) which IMO creates the “cheesy wedding dj light
This is a masterpiece I created! My entire DJ Console is integrated into it and it features a 60″ TV for you. We can use it to run slideshows, create an animated monogram, add branding or logos, have guests send images to the screen and anything you can think of!
Absolutely! I only meet once with clients, however, and it’s usually a meeting to book or a final planning meeting. I believe it’s better to meet in person before we book and have our final planning meeting over the phone on a conference call.
YES! This is important, I just don’t sit behind the turntables and press play all night!
